Dr Stefan Clerens

Dr Stefan Clerens is Science Team Leader of AgResearch’s Proteins & Biomaterials team. He is an expert in proteomics and biomolecular mass spectrometry including the application of qualitative and quantitative proteomics to a variety of biological questions. His research interests include investigating the biomolecular correlates of product quality in keratinous fibres (wool, hair), dairy and red meat. A major research theme in the Proteins & Biomaterials Team is elucidation, evaluation and tracking of processing-induced protein modifications using proteomic technologies.
