Dr Refat Al-Shannaq

Refat is a Post-doc at the University of Auckland working on FIET project 1, milk chilling and vat. Refat did his PhD in Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Auckland.Prior to his appointment to work on FIET project he was a Post-doc at Qatar University. His research focuses on developing efficient cooling system for milk, based on phase change materials (PCMs) thermal energy storage, to meet the new set of New Zealand regulations, which are ready come into effect from 2018.
