Dr Mike Boland

Mike Boland is Principal Scientist and Executive Officer of the Riddet Institute, based at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Mikes current specific interests include

? the global protein economy and how we are going to produce enough quality protein to feed everyone;
? digestion of proteins and protein foods, and synergistic effects of different foods during the digestive process;
? effects of production and processing on quality and nutritional value of proteins (especially dairy and meat).

Mike has published more than 100 original papers, 30 book chapters and 6 patents.
