FIET – Food Industry Enabling Technologies

The Food Industry Enabling Technologies (FIET) programme works to fill technology gaps which currently limit export returns achieved by New Zealand food processing companies.

FIET is a collaboration between six of New Zealand’s leading food research organisations and is funded by the Ministry for Business, Innovation and Employment.

Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours Award for Dr Kevin Marshall

Congratulations to our Board Chair Dr Kevin Marshall, on the award of Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Announced in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List, the award recognises Kevin’s service to food sciences and technology and his major contributions to the New Zealand food and bioprocessing industry. FIET has benefited from Kevin’s strong leadership and wise counsel since the inception of the programme in 2015.
